This program asks us to consider the possibility of hope. Hope that a different perspective is possible. Hope that there is a different way. No matter what your problem, the steps will give you access to The Solution. This Solution will effortlessly form around your flaws and attributes, placing you on the path you were always intended to walk, making you, quite simply, the best version of yourself it is possible to be. This includes good flaws, some odd thoughts, and occasional behavioral outbursts. We aim for progress not perfection.
The opposite of addiction is connection and with the singleness of purpose in mind we hope to build a community where all women in recovery feel safe, loved, and supported. We don't do this alone!

Meeting formats will vary from Host to Host. Still, they will include Big Book Studies, Daily Reflections, Inspirational Stories, readings from Women in Recovery and anything else our pickled minds can come up with. This jar full of pickles likes to color outside the traditional AA lines while honoring and respecting the 12 & 12.
Womens' AA Recovery Community
The Pickle Jar is a place for all women in recovery who have a desire to stop drinking. No path is perfect and our goal is progress, not perfection. We get sober, stay sober, and get through this thing called life, together, one day at a time, by sharing our experience, strength and hope with each other. We are firmly committed to all 12 of the traditions of AA, specifically focused on our groups autonomy, primary purpose and devoid of any conflicts of interest. We are committed to avoid all things which would divert us from carrying the message to the alcoholic who is still suffering. We are fully committed to being self-supporting in these efforts. We recognize that the only requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking and we will attract members to our group rather than promotion, committed to retain personal anonymity. And in all things, recognize that "our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends on the A.A. unity".
I like to think being a proud pickle is the same as "Sticking with the winners."
Staying connected is not only crucial to your sobriety, but it’s easy, and life changing! All you have to do is step out of your comfort zone a little. It may feel weird at first, but I guarantee if you approach that person after a meeting, not only will they be ecstatic to meet you, but the encounter will make you feel all warm and fuzzy afterwards. It’s the most natural high in the world, and it never fails.
A.A.'s Seventh Tradition states: “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” This means that only A.A. members contribute financially to A.A. – and even A.A. members are limited in the amount they can contribute. This keeps A.A. free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose — to help the alcoholic who still suffers. The amount of the contribution is secondary to the spiritual connection that unites all groups around the world.
Members contributing using Zelle, Venmo, Check or Bill Pay, MUST include the ‘Group Code’ tpj in the note or comment section of the payment.
